Dr. Ioannis Papangelopoulos is a Greek Dermato-Surgeon, specialising in Hair Restoration and Non-Invasive Aesthetics.

He graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania in 1995. He then progressed to higher training at the Andreas Sygros University Hospital of Venereal and Skin Diseases in Athens and further specialised at the Charite University of Dermatology in Berlin, Germany where he completed his specialist training in 2007.

After completion of his training, Dr. Papangelopoulos has placed himself as one of the leading surgeons in his field. His experience boasts over 3,500 hair transplant surgeries spanning over a period of 15 plus years, always being at the forefront of utilising new technology and innovative methods. He considers attention to detail and the need to treat each case as an individual rather than a number, as two major attributes of his successful career.

Dr. Papangelopoulos has been attending Persona Med-Aesthetic Centre since November 2014 and apart from his regular visits to Malta, he operates in prominent clinics based in Athens, Cyprus and Albania.  More recently, Dr. Papangelopoulos has also been awarded the prominent position of Head of the Hair Transplantation Department at the world renowned and JCI Approved Private Hospital, HYGEIA Hospital in Athens, Greece.

Outside of his working schedule, Dr. Papangelopoulos has an avid interest in classic motor cars and boating.
